Sulfur removal agent effectively controls oil pipe corrosion trends

In 2023, a gas well in an oil and gas field in western China suffered from serious local corrosion damage to the oil pipe. The well depth was 7936m and the bottom hole temperature was 175°C. The content of hydrogen sulfide and chloride ions in the gas well was high, and conventional corrosion inhibitor products could not cope with it well. After using our sulfur removal agent product in its gas well, the local corrosion trend of the oil pipe was effectively controlled. After 90 days, the more serious local corrosion showed no signs of worsening.
