F5366 is an effective antioxidant. It can be used as an additive to improve fuel sta bility and the overall blending capabilities of gasoline . Inherently unstable and highly olefinic cracked component streams are increasingly being blended into gasoline to maximize production. However, the presence of such olefinic components may deteriorate fuel characteristics, such as darkening, gum formation and short induction periods.
